Hello everybody,
you know perfectly well that my passion is animating, drawing, illustrating and working with computer.

I have a “dream in the tray” for some years and I wish realize it: a cartoon animated series located in Tuscany. Protagonists come out from wonderful Tuscany’s tradition and culture. I’m working personally on this project for some years: I have prepared many preparatory studies, a screenplay for Pilot, a short Trailer (realized like an animatic). This animated series will have this title: “Tuscany’s Tales”.

I define this project an ‘Open Source’ project, because at an early stage it wants develop itself through free contribution, except then subsequently propose itself as a commercial product to financiers and producers.

I believe wery much in the idea of making known the Tuscany in the World, also through a cartoon for children. Besides characters are a boy, a dog and a little snake. Naturally animals are talking and their names are: Giogio, Sissi whereas the boy is Nebbia.

To develop the Project I would like to realize a Pilot of 5 min. of duration and I need some persons who help me to realize it. When Promo is realized I’ll look for some funding and investors to produce the whole series; at this point my work and
the work of Project’s collaborators will be paid. Besides all work will be recognized referring names and resumes of all collaborators.

At this moment the Project needs 2 professionals:

- 1 character supervisor
- 1 background artist

I’ll make after the whole animation of the promo using Flash.

It isn’t important that persons I look for live in Tuscany or in Italy. The most important is that they share with me the passion for this work, and love for Tuscany. I’ll provide to collaborators images, photographs, videos, drawings and model sheets and more generally all things they need for the Project.

I want to develop this Project complitely “on line” using all web’s tools.

Ciao a tutti,

come ben sapete la mia passione è fare animazione, disegnare, illustrare e lavorare con il computer.

Da qualche anno ho un sogno nel cassetto che vorrei realizzare: una serie animata ambientata in Toscana, con personaggi tratti dalla cultura e tradizione di questa bellissima terra amata in tutto il mondo. E’ un progetto che coltivo da anni personalmente: ho preparato molti studi, una sceneggiatura per il pilot, un breve trailer realizzato con immagini tratte dallo storyboard. Questa serie avrà il titolo di: Leggende Toscane (Tuscany’s Tales).

Potete trovare il trailer all’interno del mio spazio con il nome provvisorio di “The amazing adventures of Nebbia Sissi & Giogio”.

Il mio è un progetto, che definisco ‘Open source’, in quanto in una fase iniziale vuole svilupparsi attraverso contributigratuiti, salvo poi successivamente proporsi come prodotto commerciale a finanziatori e produttori.

Credo molto nell’idea di far conoscere la Toscana nel mondo anche attraverso un cartone animato destinato al pubblico infantile. I personaggi inoltre sono un bambino, un cane ed una simpatica biscia. Gli animali sono naturalmente “parlanti” ed i loro nomi sono: Giogio, Sissi mentre il nome del bambino è Nebbia.

Per portare avanti il progetto vorrei realizzare una prima puntata pilota della durata di 5 minuti e ho bisogno di persone che mi aiutino a realizzarla. Una volta realizzato il promo cercherò dei finanziamenti per produrre la serie e a quel punto il lavoro mio e quello di chi ha collaborato con me potrà essere retribuito. Inoltre tutto il lavoro effettuato sarà riconosciuto riportando i nomi e tutte le referenze degli autori dei contributi.

Al momento c’è bisogno di queste due figure:

- 1 supervisore per i characters
- 1 background artist

Io mi occuperò dell’intera animazione del promo utilizzando flash.

Non ha importanza che le persone che cerco vivano in Toscana o in Italia. L’importante è che condividano con me la passione per questo lavoro e l’amore per la terra toscana. Provvederò io a fornire ai collaboratori immagini, fotografie, filmati, disegni e più in generale tutto il materiale che occorre loro per il progetto.

Ho intenzione di sviluppare il progetto interamente on line utilizzando gli strumenti che il web offre per tenersi sempre in contatto.
